We Want To Ski, Dog Sled And Enjoy A White Xmas In Usa Or Canada – Can You Help?
Dogs racing Add commentsWe are from Australia and want to enjoy a white xmas overseas. I hear that colorado is great for any type of skier, great powder and long winding trails. Also want dog sledding, sleigh rides etc. Anyone know about skiing in USA or canada, when is the best time to go, the weather, and places to stay. We would be 3 or 4 star accommodation, probably ski in/out.

all colorado skiing is good, but of all the places I’ve been dog sledding Steamboat is the best. I can’t rememver the name of the place, but it’s on the road from Hayden airport going into Steamboat. there were only a few places, but this place let you (an adult or bigger kid) be the musher. It was awesome. We went 12 miles with me “driving” and my kids in the sled. I’ll definately be going there again. they also have snow mobile excursions that rock out there too.
