A TAUNTON man is preparing for a dog sledding trip to the Artic to raise money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
Tom St John Gray, 28, will be heading to the Artic in March next year and will be travelling in a group over 200km with his own team of dogs.
Tom aims to raise £2,700 in sponsorship and said: “We are going to travel 200km and in the process, I hopefully will become an expert in dog sledding!
“I’ll have my own team of dogs and will be negotiating the sled through some of the most exceptional terrain in the world.”
All the money raised will be donated to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and so far Tom has raise a fantastic £1,550.
