They can adapt to warmer weather, but do better in cold weather.
I will never forget seeing a husky in an idling car in Atlanta.
Those people need to be punched in the face. Repeatedly.

My Siberian’s idea of a morning walk is a 30 mile run on the ice. That’s assuming it’s 20 below zero. If it’s warmer, not so far. I don’t run her when it’s colder than 40. She sleeps outside in her dog house, except when it’s really cold. Then I let her sleep in the kunnichuk, where she has a bed. She’s a terrible guard dog, and she likes to beat up on other dogs. But she’s loving and so smart…I’ve never seen such a smart dog.

@TheTruePunjabi I live in SW england and have a Huskamute, a Husky Malamute cross. It runs around in warm weather and as long as it has access to water, either through a bottle/ container etc or a river to cool down in it seems to be fine. If it is really hot they could be exercised early morning/ late evening when it’s cooler.

No, huskies can adapt. Just like any other dog, don’t leave them out in the heat for extended periods of time.

The Alaskan malamute? works and lives with you, not for you. Sometimes aggressive toward other dogs, especially those of the same sex, the typical malamute is outrageously and almost universally friendly to humans. As the dogs of a peaceful, nomadic people, malamutes do not guard property and virtually always extend a tail-wagging, face-licking welcome to strangers. I love both breeds but from experience I’ve had more aggression with huskies toward smaller animals. It’s all on the pup though.
