Ryan Redington, who was the first into Skwentna Saturday evening, won the Knik 200-Joe Redington Sr. Memorial Sled Dog Race Sunday morning, beating Ken Anderson and Dan Kaduce to the finish by about 38 minutes.
Ryan Redington, who lives in Wasilla and is the grandson of Joe Redington Sr., crossed the finish line just after 9 a.m. He checked into Skwentna at 6:11 Saturday evening.
Anderson finished 20 seconds ahead of Kaduce at 9:38 a.m. Ray Redington Jr., Ryan Redington’s brother, claimed fourth at 9:55 a.m. Matt Hayashida rounded out the top five, coming in at 9:59.
