Dognappers have stolen two six-week-old Alaskan Malamute puppies from a property in Melbourne.
Police are searching for two men who took the puppies away from their two six-week-old siblings and parents about 9pm yesterday from the property in Elizabeth St, Reservoir.
The men snatched the pups from a backyard after entering through a side gate, then fleeing down the driveway as the owner heard his dogs barking.
The pups, valued at $700 each, are feeding from their mother and have not been vaccinated.
Their owner is concerned for the pups' welfare now they are separated from their mother.
