Michael Tetzner’s team completed the 16.1-mile Beach Lake course in 51 minutes, 19 seconds Saturday to take a 34-second lead over Bill Kornmuller on Day 1 of the Eagle River Classic sled dog race.
The two-day event wraps up today. Competitors are vying for a share of a $3,000 purse.
