John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon - race leaders

1. Jason Barron, Lincoln, Mont., arrived at Sawbill at 8:38 a.m. with nine dogs. Total time on trail: 22 hours, 48 minutes.

2. Nathan Schroeder, Chisholm, arrived at Sawbill at 7:30 a.m. with 11 dogs. Total time on trail: 23:17.

3. Matt Carstens, Whitefield, N.H., arrived at Sawbill at 9:12 a.m. with 10 dogs. Total time on trail: 24:18.

4. Tim Calhoun, Tomahawk, Wis., arrived at Sawbill at 8:38 a.m. with nine dogs. Total time on trail: 24:31.

5. Michael Bestgen, St. Cloud, Minn., arrived at Sawbill at 8:57 a.m. with 9 dogs. Total time on trail: 25:08.
