Sprint racer Bill Kornmuller of Willow sped to a 3-minute victory over Michael Tetzner of Germany on second and final day of racing, coming from behind and capture the Eagle River Classic on Sunday at the Beach Lake Trails. Essentially, Kornmuller did to Tetzner what British Columbia musher Blayne “Buddy” Streeper did to Kornmuller 11 months ago on the final day of racing at the Fur Rendezvous World Championship Sled Dog Race.
