A unique event for the Southeast and a fun educational outing for families and dog lovers, the Alaska Serum Run Re-enactment takes place on the Virginia Creeper Trail from Abingdon trail head to Damascus in southwestern Virginia. Hosted by the Siberian Husky Rescue, the day begins with Breakfast with the Sled Dogs at the farmers market in Abingdon.
